Newfield Garden Apartments offers the comforts of home while being just minutes from downtown Ithaca. Each of the 28 one bedroom apartments has been designed with the special needs of seniors in mind, and all are clean and modern.
The staff is available during the week to answer management needs, and maintenance is provided on call, 24 hours a day. All maintenance is provided, including grounds keeping, snow removal, and cleaning of the common areas to keep a nice environment for all.
All the units at Newfield Garden are designed to meet the needs of the aging. Bedroom and living room areas are carpeted, and the kitchens and baths offer modern conveniences.
Many extra features of Newfield Garden help make it a nice place to live, such as:
- Built in security and fire prevention features, like emergency equipment in each unit which is wired to the fire department.
- Common areas where residents can schedule parties, activities, and meetings.

The rent at Newfield Garden is affordable because it is based on income. Residents pay a total of 30% of adjusted income for rent, including an allowance for utilities.
To qualify for Newfield Garden, applicants must be age 62 or over, or disabled or handicapped and have an income of $45,700 or less for one person, or $51,450 or less for two persons.
